Edvard arrives in Wisconsin, adopting the alias 'Eddie' with the help of his loyal majordomo, Søren. His first encounter with local culture leads to a disastrous bar incident involving Paige, setting the stage for their tumultuous relationship.

After the bar incident, Paige is forced to team up with Eddie in their crucial organic chemistry lab. Despite her initial frustration with his carefree attitude, she lays down strict rules, expecting him to take the class seriously for both their sakes.

During the elaborated coronation ball, Paige grapples with her inner conflict about trading her medical ambitions for a life of royalty. Ultimately, her heartache leads her to end the engagement and return to her life in America.
