In 1909, young teacher Miguel is sent to the isolated mountain town of Lobosandaus, situated on the border of Spain and Portugal. This remote community harbors distant people with unusual traditions, a stark contrast to Miguel’s aspirations of spreading knowledge and reason. As winter descends, he finds himself increasingly captivated by the enigmatic Dorinda and overwhelmed by a growing darkness. The sudden death of a resident triggers a series of unsettling events, revealing a strange and ghostly presence within the town.
