In 1943, as Nazi rule in Denmark becomes increasingly oppressive, resistance spreads. In Aarhus, two young men—Holger Mikkelsen (Ole Lemmeke) and Leo (Per Morberg)—break into a firm that collaborates with the Germans and set fire to a repair workshop. Their daring act nearly leads to capture, forcing them to flee for safety before the occupiers arrive.
