The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!

Lieutenant Frank Drebin takes a much-needed vacation in Beirut, seeking a break from his demanding job. However, fate intervenes when he stumbles upon a covert gathering of infamous international foes plotting a terrorist scheme.

Drebin discovers a coalition of infamous figures, including Idi Amin and Muammar Gaddafi, conspiring to execute a plot aimed at humiliating the United States. Their alliance reveals a sinister global agenda that Drebin feels compelled to disrupt.

Back in Los Angeles, Officer Nordberg investigates Vincent Ludwig's heroin operation. In a disturbing turn of events, he falls victim to an ambush orchestrated by Ludwig's henchmen, leaving him severely injured and in dire need of help.

Returning to L.A., Frank Drebin visits his ailing colleague Nordberg. While there, he uncovers cryptic clues suggesting Ludwig's involvement in Nordberg's predicament, launching him into a high-stakes investigation.

Drebin is thrust into a time-sensitive investigation with only 24 hours to exonerate Nordberg. He approaches Ludwig under the guise of routine questioning, unaware that his inquiries would spark a catastrophic chain reaction.

Vincent Ludwig, meeting with a shadowy accomplice from the Beirut conference, hatches a nefarious plan to assassinate Queen Elizabeth II for a staggering fee of $20 million. He intends to use mind-controlling devices to accomplish this malignant deed.

In a comedic twist, Ludwig tries to hypnotize Nordberg's doctor to eliminate him. However, Drebin intervenes just in time, thwarting the devious plot and highlighting his growing involvement in the dark conspiracy.

Drebin takes matters into his own hands by breaking into Ludwig's office in search of evidence. Unfortunately, he accidentally ignites a fire that destroys all incriminating proof, complicating his case against Ludwig.

During a lavish reception for Queen Elizabeth II, Drebin misinterprets a demonstration by Ludwig and mistakenly believes the Queen is under attack. His misguided attempt to protect the Queen results in his dismissal from Police Squad.

Meanwhile, Jane, Ludwig's unwitting accomplice, begins to doubt her role in the sinister plot. She confides in Drebin about the looming assassination scheme, further entangling him in the dangerous affair.

As time runs out, Drebin dons a disguise to infiltrate a baseball game, determined to thwart the impending disaster. He bravely outlines the covert plot to his colleagues, gathering support to save the day.

Ludwig activates Reggie Jackson, an assassin posing as a player at the game, to execute the plot against the Queen. As Jackson attempts his assassination, Drebin springs into action, leading to chaos in the stadium.

In a scene filled with slapstick humor, Drebin inadvertently causes a bench-clearing brawl while pursuing Jackson. Amidst the confusion, Ludwig's plan takes a hit as Jackson narrowly escapes.

Drebin, determined to capture Jackson, shoots a tranquilizer dart at him but misses and accidentally hits a large woman in the crowd. The comedic outcome leads to Jackson being incapacitated just as Drebin intended.

The climax culminates with Drebin chasing Ludwig to the stadium heights, where Ludwig meets his demise in a bizarre chain of events involving a bus, a steamroller, and a marching band. The chaos finally subsides, allowing Drebin to confront Jane and profess his feelings.
