The Muppets

The movie begins with Walter, a humble yellow-skinned puppet living in Smalltown. He shares a strong bond with his older brother, Gary, and they both share a deep passion for the Muppets, which started in their childhood.

Gary invites Walter to join him and his girlfriend, Mary, to celebrate their tenth anniversary in Los Angeles. This trip marks a turning point in their lives as they seek to reconnect with the Muppets.

Upon arriving in Los Angeles, the trio visits the Muppet Theater, only to find it is in dire disrepair. Walter sneaks into Kermit’s office and overhears a plot by Tex Richman to demolish the theater for profit.

Walter realizes that to save the theater, they need to raise 10 million dollars. He shares this urgent news with Gary and Mary, sparking their quest to find Kermit and save the Muppets.

The trio begins their mission to find Kermit at his mansion, where they discover his despair over the Muppets' decline. Walter's encouragement leads to Kermit considering a reunion show to raise the required funds.

The group finds Fozzie Bear performing with subpar impersonators in Reno. With Kermit's persuasion, Fozzie agrees to leave the Moopets and join the effort to save the Muppet Theater.

Gonzo, now a successful plumbing magnate, realizes his life is lacking adventure. He decides to blow up his business to join the Muppets on their quest, highlighting his longing for his adventurous past.

The Muppets visit a celebrity anger-management clinic to find Animal. After some hesitation, he agrees to join, albeit with the requirement to avoid drums as part of his therapy.

The team travels to Paris to persuade Miss Piggy, now an influential fashion editor, to rejoin them. Initially reluctant, she declines their request, pushing the Muppets to adopt her Moopet counterpart temporarily.

As the Muppets prepare for their telethon, they struggle with rejections from TV networks. Eventually, they secure a two-hour slot from Veronica, contingent upon landing a celebrity guest for their show.

Miss Piggy returns and takes charge, ousting her Moopet counterpart and motivating Walter to explore his hidden talent. The Muppets' rehearsals, however, face challenges as they prepare for the show.

Tensions rise when Gary forgets his anniversary with Mary, leading her to feel neglected. This creates a rift that Gary must confront, prompting him to reassess his priorities.

As the telethon kicks off, the Muppets face sabotage from Tex Richman but rally together, supported by Gary and Mary who rush back to help. Chaos ensues, but Walter discovers his unexpected talent and shines on stage.

The telethon is met with complications, including a donation glitch that threatens their goal. Despite the hurdles, Kermit inspires everyone to remember the importance of their efforts and unity.

In the end, the Muppets are reunited, greeted by a throng of fans outside the theater. Gary proposes to Mary, and a reconciled Tex returns the Muppet name and theater, marking a new chapter for the ensemble.
