The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Frodo Baggins awakens from a vivid dream where Gandalf battles the Balrog deep within Moria. Joined by his loyal friend Samwise Gamgee, Frodo finds himself lost in the treacherous terrain of Emyn Muil, close to Mordor.

Frodo and Sam quickly realize they are being hunted by Gollum, a creature who once possessed the One Ring. After capturing him, Frodo shows compassion and decides to set him free to guide them through the dangerous lands of Mordor.

Meanwhile, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli are in pursuit of the Uruk-hai to rescue their captured friends Merry and Pippin. Their urgent quest leads them into the kingdom of Rohan.

While seeking their friends, Aragorn and his fellowship encounter the Rohirrim who ambush the Uruk-hai. In this chaos, Merry and Pippin manage to escape into the mystical Fangorn Forest.

Reunited with Merry and Pippin, Aragorn and his companions meet Éomer, leader of the Rohirrim. Éomer reveals that Rohan’s king, Théoden, is under the control of Saruman, and despite believing Merry and Pippin are dead, he provides Aragorn's group with horses.

In the depth of Fangorn, Aragorn's group meets Gandalf, who has returned as Gandalf the White after defeating the Balrog. He leads them to Edoras, the capital of Rohan, to confront King Théoden.

Gandalf successfully frees King Théoden from Saruman's manipulation. In a critical moment, Aragorn intervenes to stop Théoden from executing Gríma Wormtongue, who escapes, leaving a sense of urgency in the air.

Learning of Saruman's plot to destroy Rohan, Théoden quickly orders his people to evacuate to Helm's Deep, preparing them for the impending danger. Gandalf sets off to gather Éomer and his forces to aid in defense.

As Saruman's Warg-riding Orcs ambush the fleeing refugees, Aragorn falls from a cliff and is presumed dead. However, fate intervenes when he is rescued by the loyal horse Brego who leads him back to Helm's Deep.

In Rivendell, Arwen faces her father's warning that Aragorn may never return. This realization weighs heavily on her as she contemplates the reality of outliving Aragorn.

Frodo's companions, Merry and Pippin, meet Treebeard in Fangorn Forest, who brings them to an Ent Council meeting. Although they decide not to join the battle, Pippin's urging leads them to Isengard, where they witness the havoc caused by Saruman.

Enraged by Saruman's destruction, Treebeard rallies the Ents to attack Isengard. They imprison Saruman in his own tower, demonstrating the power and solidarity of the ancient trees.

The tension escalates at Helm's Deep as Théoden prepares his defenders for an overwhelming assault by Saruman's forces. Ultimately, the defenders regroup and prepare for a final charge, as hope dwindles.

As dawn breaks over Helm's Deep, hope returns with the arrival of Gandalf and Éomer, bringing the Rohirrim into the fray. Their timely assistance shifts the balance in the fight against the Uruk-hai, leading to their eventual defeat.

As Frodo and Sam continue towards Mordor under Gollum's guide, they are captured by the Rangers of Ithilien. After a tense encounter, Faramir grants them freedom, but Gollum begins to plot against them out of jealousy and betrayal.
