The Infernal Walker

Ting Cheuk-fei has spent seven years infiltrating the Fuk Wo triad, maintaining his cover through ruthless conduct that mirrors the gang’s brutal code. His undercover life pulls him further into the gang’s operations and makes personal boundaries increasingly murky. The constant danger finally begins to erode his sense of right and wrong as he inches toward his goal.

During a Fuk Wo operation, a fellow undercover officer named Van is captured by Shawn, the gang’s leader. Ting is forced to torture Van and watch him killed to preserve his cover, an act that brutally tests his conscience. The incident leaves Ting morally scarred and exhausted by a life of deception.

Tuen Yat-fan has just been promoted to chief inspector of the Anti-Triad Unit and now aims to become a real policeman. He also plans a future with Sin-yeung, his girlfriend who works in the interior department. His rising career sits atop a fragile balance with Sung Ching-kwong’s drug empire.

Fuk Wo collaborates with Sung's Eastern Trading Company to set up a drug deal, and Ting is chosen by Brother Hei to carry out the operation. He coordinates with his handler Lau, who provides an invisible marker to reveal the trade location to Ap Lei Pai. The arrangement is driven by the need to test Ting’s loyalty and expose potential mole activity.

Ting and Lau stage a bust at Ap Lei Pai, but Hei and Sung are manipulating the operation as a trap. The apparent drug deal uses counterfeit cash and low-quality cocaine to bait the mole in Fuk Wo. Meanwhile, the real trade is planned for Central, hidden from Ting’s team.

Hei’s assistant East, secretly a mole planted by Sung, discovers Ting’s invisible marker and also suspects Tuen may betray Sung. This discovery reveals the complexity of loyalties and sets new moves in motion to root out the traitors. The stage is set for a broader confrontation between the two sides.

Sung kills Sin-yeung and frames Ting for the murder. Ting is knocked out by a taser, allowing Sung to push the narrative that Ting is the mole and the killer. The personal betrayal hits Ting hard as his fiancée’s death is used to ruin his cover.

Ting resolves to find the hitman who killed Sin-yeung and enlists the help of Nasty. They track down leads and close in on the killer, while Lau expands the internal investigation into the mastermind. The pursuit tightens the net around Sung and his allies.

The hitman escapes during a scuffle but is cornered near the docks. Ting defeats and binds him, while Nasty is killed by the hitman in a brutal betrayal. Ting then contacts Tuen and urges a deeper inquiry into Sung’s true mastermind.

In a climactic confrontation at the docks, Ting, Sung, and Tuen collide. Sung kicks Tuen into the water, and Ting arrives to intervene. In the ensuing struggle, Tuen shoots Sung and Sung fires back, killing both men.

Hei, Shawn, and Joss receive life sentences for murder, manslaughter, and drug trafficking. Ting completes his mission, having exposed Sung as the mastermind and recovered his cover, while discovering Tuen’s police identification and discarding it by throwing it into the water.
