The Hero: Love Story of a Spy

Arun Khanna, a RAW army intelligence officer, builds a covert spy network along the tense Kashmir frontier. He meets Reshma, an orphan who volunteers to join his operation, and the two grow close as trust blooms between them. This partnership sets the stage for a dangerous mission across the border.

Reshma volunteers to join the operation and is sent into Pakistan undercover as a maid. She begins feeding Batra critical intelligence, embedding herself in the spy network while maintaining cover. Her commitment deepens the connection between them and drives the investigation forward.

During a pivotal gathering at Hidayatulla's residence, Khan, Azhar, and scientists reveal plans to weaponize a nuclear device. Reshma is exposed while feeding information and must flee in a tense chase. Batra assists her escape and they return to India, now aware of the danger they face.

Batra proposes marriage to Reshma, but terrorists strike soon after. Reshma disappears after falling into a river, and Batra is believed dead. The couple's bond has to endure a new wave of danger and separation.

Fueled by duty, Batra fakes his own death to slip back into Khan and Azhar's orbit and infiltrate their operation. Disguised, he trails them to Canada, where he uncovers their plan to assemble a nuclear device.

Reshma is found alive on the Ravi riverbank in Lahore, saved by Salman, and is unable to walk due to trauma. She travels to Canada for medical treatment and becomes the ward of Dr. Shaheen Zakaria, daughter of the extremist Zakaria.

In Canada, Batra assumes a new identity as Wahid and ingratiates himself with Zakaria's circle, earning Shaheen's trust. He marries Shaheen, tying himself to the Zakaria family while secretly pursuing the bomb’s location.

Reshma spots a muffler she knitted for Batra in a Canadian mall and realizes he is alive, living as Wahid. She recognizes him at Shaheen's wedding, and the impossible truth dawns on her as their paths collide again.

Shaheen learns of Zakaria's terrorist connections and Batra discloses the truth. The couple pressures the terrorists to reveal the location of the bomb parts, which have been hidden at Zakaria's high-altitude facility.

The information they uncover signals to governments, triggering a coordinated response. Khan realizes Wahid's true identity and orders an attempt to kill him, escalating the pursuit.

On the hijacked train, soldiers close in as Khan leads the assault and the terrorists seize passengers. The crisis escalates as the team pressures for a breakthrough, with time running out to stop the bomb.

On the train, Khan kills Shaheen, and she forgives Batra in her final moment. Reborn by their shared mission, Batra eliminates the remaining terrorists, including Khan, and returns to Kashmir to be reunited with Reshma.
