After a doctor restores her vision, a formerly blind woman suddenly confuses her loyal lover with his reckless younger brother. Those around her, claiming concern for her fragile psyche, deliberately refrain from correcting the mistake, leaving the misunderstanding to fester. The doctor watches helplessly as the confusion deepens.
