The Hallow

Adam, Claire, and their infant son Finn embark on a journey to a secluded Irish village. Adam's profession as a conservationist drives them to explore the surrounding forest, looking for peace and tranquility in nature.

While surveying the woodlands, Adam stumbles upon an eerie abandoned house. Inside, he finds the gruesome remains of an animal, indicating a sinister presence and marking the beginning of their troubles.

Back at their cabin, Claire is confronted by a local man named Colm, who is searching for Adam. After Claire refuses to cooperate, Colm leaves angrily, sensing that something ominous is brewing.

That night, a mysterious crash disrupts their peace. A panic-stricken Claire rushes out to investigate but finds the door closing behind her, leading to a chaotic discovery of damage that prompts a call to the police.

When police arrive, they dismiss Claire’s worries, attributing the damage to a bird instead. They also share chilling local legends about 'The Hallow,' an enchanted grove said to be populated by sinister entities.

Adam takes Finn to town for emergency window repairs and receives warnings about the dangers lurking in the forest. Despite the ominous advice, Adam remains focused on his duties as a father and conservationist.

Colm unexpectedly barges into their cabin, advising Claire to flee to safety. He leaves behind an eerie old book, which adds to the growing tension and unease in their already precarious situation.

On his way back home, Adam faces car troubles caused by a vine-like fungus clogging the engine. As he struggles to fix the issue, he finds himself ambushed and trapped, with Finn wailing inside the car.

Upon escaping the car, Adam arrives home to find the cabin ransacked. Panic sets in as they scramble for weapons amidst flickering lights, fully aware that something malicious is pursuing them.
