The Green Inferno

At the end of The Green Inferno, the main character, Justine, manages to escape the tribe and finds herself in the middle of a battle between the petrochemical company’s militia and the cannibalistic natives. She then claims that she was the only survivor of the crash and that the tribe helped her escape, which allows her to return safely to the United States. However, this turn of events strains credibility, as the film shows her lying, suggesting the tribe’s assistance was fabricated to justify their actions.
