She establishes a cult that accepts women who have been betrayed or exploited by men. Among its members is Chen Yuanyuan, another symbol of the era's widespread treachery. The cult serves as Lian Nichang's instrument to wage war against the eight major martial arts schools.

Lian Nichang swears to kill the surviving members of the eight major martial arts schools who regard her as their sworn enemy after she killed their seniors. She frames this campaign as a purge of those who colluded with male oppression. The vow cements her path of brutal retribution.

Feng Junjie, heir to the Wudang School, marries Yu Qin with the elders of the major schools bearing witness. The marriage binds rival factions to a fragile alliance on the surface. This union becomes a focal point for future clashes with Lian Nichang's rising power.

Back at the Witch's base, Feng Junjie makes a final attempt to save Yu Qin but finds himself outmatched by Lian Nichang. Just then Zhuo Yihang arrives and intervenes, attempting to stop Lian Nichang from continuing the massacre. The climactic confrontation narrows to a personal duel between the two former lovers.

During the confrontation, Lian Nichang wounds Zhuo Yihang with her hair, a devastating blow that tests their bond. Her hatred gradually softens when Zhuo offers the same flower that could reverse her curse. The gesture hints at possible redemption even as their struggle continues.

Chen stabs Lian Nichang during the struggle, betraying the cult's principles. In response, Lian pulls her hair out from Zhuo Yihang's body and kills Chen. The betrayal catalyzes the final toll of their feud.

The deaths of Zhuo Yihang and Lian Nichang bring an end to their feud as they reconcile in death and are laid to rest together as lovers. Lian's white hair turns back to black, signaling a final reversal of her curse. Their resting place becomes a somber symbol of tragedy and peace.

Yu Qin recovers from the mind-control trance, and Feng Junjie is reunited with his wife. The rescue brings closure to the couple and restores balance within the Wudang and allied factions. The martial-arts world moves toward healing following the brutal crimes.
