A bank clerk’s attractive daughter encounters a charming college student who pursues her romantically. Amused by their awkward first meeting, her father grows wary, suspecting the young man of dubious intentions. Determined to protect his daughter, he and his wife devise a scheme, feigning erratic behavior to intimidate and drive the suitor away.
