The Blob

In a charming little town in Pennsylvania, Steve Andrews and his girlfriend Jane Martin enjoy a romantic moment when a meteorite crashes nearby. Their curiosity piqued, Steve decides to investigate the source of the disturbance beyond the hill.

The local elderly resident, Barney, encounters the glowing meteorite first. As he approaches it out of intrigue, he pokes at it with a stick, triggering a violent reaction that causes the meteorite to burst open and expose a strange gelatinous entity.

After the meteorite's explosive reaction, Barney finds the gelatinous creature latching onto his hand, causing him immense pain. In a frantic rush, Steve and Jane take Barney to Doctor Hallen for immediate medical attention.
