Life doesn’t make sense; stories do. Estranged ex‑lovers Kostya and Kira are forced to work together as script‑writers on a romance set in a music school. Their screenplay follows teachers Rostislav (Dmitry Lysenkov) and Arina (Evgeniya Borzykh), whose tangled situation deepens when Arina pretends a new colleague is her boyfriend to satisfy her demanding mother. The blend of real and fictional relationships probes love, trust, infidelity, friendship, responsibility and compatibility.
