Tea for Two Hundred

While Donald Duck camps in the mountains, a line of ants crawls from a nearby bush, each carrying a grain. Donald watches with curiosity as a small ant carrying a bean passes by. The scene sets up a playful contest of strength between a human and a tiny army of foragers.

Donald fixates on the straggler ant, intrigued by its apparent load. He begins to test the ant’s endurance, nudging and observing how much weight the diminutive creature can haul. The ant continues marching oblivious to the challenge, focused on its mission.

Donald piles several food items from his picnic onto the ant, and the tiny insect dutifully carries the burden. He makes the ant perform a tightrope walk with the payload, testing its limits. Donald plucks the string and the ant, overwhelmed, falls into a large custard pie.

The ant, initially angry, tastes the pie and discovers a wealth of food. Delighted, it races back to the ant colony to spread the news. The colony gathers using mushrooms as hand drums to signal the celebration.

Later, a small team of ants slips up on Donald as he sleeps against a tree near his picnic basket. They silently open the basket and begin to raid its contents. Donald instinctively covers the opening with his hand, but the ants close in and lift him off the ground.

The ants carry Donald toward a cliff and throw him into the water, eliciting a squawking protest. He crawls back up just in time to see the ants carrying more food items out of his basket into their hole, while he tries to stop the theft.

The ants huddle, make a plan, and face Donald, who yells 'Oh, yeah?' in defiance. The ants tackle him as if they were playing football, and they pull off his shirt. He quickly improvises a barrel to preserve modesty while bracing for action.

In a misguided bid to stop the raiders, Donald lights dynamite to destroy the anthill. The blast tears away a large portion of the cliff and sends Donald into the water a second time, hollering loudly.

With the threat gone, the ant colony congregates around a large cupcake. The little ant Donald had harassed runs to the top and eats the cherry, signaling the colony's triumphant moment. The food bounty becomes the ants’ shared feast.

The conclusion circles back to the ants’ victory meal around the cupcake, with the ant that took the lead enjoying the cherry. Donald's schemes have failed, and the ants celebrate their find amid the pastry terrain. The scene ends on a light, comedic note.
