Five masked robbers pull off a $10 million heist at a Las Vegas casino, but the plan quickly spirals. All but one are captured, and the money disappears; the surviving partner is shot in the head and left for dead. Ten years pass, and Cole [Grant Bowler], the former leader, is broken out of prison by his old crew—Stillman [Jean-Claude Van Damme], Boyd [Josh Henderson], and Kane [Daniele Favilli]—who have learned from a boastful mechanic [Brad Carter] that their partner may still be alive and, somehow, escaped with the loot thanks to a local physician. The gang heads toward Baker, a remote town with more secrets than people, chasing a rumor that the physician can explain what happened to the money.
In Baker they locate Doc [Alfred Molina], the town’s enigmatic physician, and through him and other locals they piece together that the sheriff arrived in town a decade ago under suspicious circumstances. Curious and increasingly tense, Cole and his crew stage a bar fight to draw out the sheriff, only to discover that the man they’re up against is Bishop [Lennie James], the partner who vanished years earlier and now rules a belligerent biker gang. Bishop claims to be haunted by memories and migraines from a bullet lodged in his skull, a reminder of his complicated past. The encounter shakes the town’s uneasy balance, and as Bishop slowly recalls fragments of his history, the group learns more about who he is and what he might have done.
Back in Baker, tensions flare as Boyd and Kane push for a violent spree, while Stillman resists, sensing the danger of their plan unraveling. London [Freya Tingley], Bishop’s step-daughter, finds herself at the center of the town’s turmoil after a troubled history with her mother Carmen [Catalina Sandino Moreno]—a woman who once shared a life with Cole. When Kane rapes London after a tense moment, the town’s fragile order begins to crack, and a grim confrontation looms. A separate clash in the diner ends with Bishop’s quick reflexes acing a dangerous standoff with Boyd, while Stillman watches the town be drawn into the violence.
As the plot intensifies, Cole uses his influence to recruit the biker gang and publicize Bishop’s criminal background, forcing the town to choose sides and giving them until sunrise to locate the missing money. In a dramatic turn, Cole takes London hostage to pressure Bishop, and Carmen reveals she knew about Bishop’s past all along and still trusted him. She improvises a hidden pistol, passing it to Bishop, who heads to the diner to confront Cole. Kane uses London as a human shield, provoking widespread outrage and driving the town to withdraw their support from Cole’s crew. The biker gang departs in protest, and Cole shoots Kane in a final, impulsive move. As Cole exits, Bishop confronts him, and the two men engage in a fateful duel—Bishop ends Cole’s life, shifting the balance of power in Baker.
With Cole gone and the town facing the aftermath, the people of Baker rally around Bishop, shielding him from the notoriety of his past. The narrative closes with an aerial shot that reveals the hidden stash of money still buried in the town, a quiet reminder that in Baker, secrets can outlive even the fiercest betrayals.
