A musical thriller set in 1846, where Anthony Hope arrives in London with the enigmatic Sweeney Todd, a once‑naïve barber whose life and marriage were ruined by a corrupt justice system. Todd confides in Nellie Lovett, owner of a local meat‑pie shop, and the two become partners as he vows revenge on those who wronged him, resuming his trade and using the shop as a cover for his deadly agenda.
