Sent to a small coastal village in southern Spain, Susana meets unfriendly locals. The women resent their husbands, who now spend months fishing far from home instead of the nearby waters they once used. Susana teaches the women to cooperate and urges the men to return to their old near‑shore fishing ways, leading her to fall in love again.
