Olli, a Suominen family schoolboy, unintentionally causes two accidents and freezes when it comes to confessing to his father, Väinö. Fearing his parents’ anger, he bolts from their Helsinki home and heads for the Savijärvi clearing camp with his friend Jaska. What begins as a carefree escape soon spirals into a nightmare, as the boys encounter trouble and are forced to evade both the police and Olli’s energetic little sister, Pipsa.
