The sequel to Soinio’s 1988 Kuutamosonaatti follows the same rural family. Sulo employs sauna, moonshine and tar to revive his injured brother Arvo, their mother, and even buried revolutionaries. When Arvo heads to Helsinki, falls into moonshining and chases a celebrity, Sulo and the resurrected mother chase him to save him from city excesses.
