Haala's brother Sameer, an NRI working in the UAE, has spent years looking for a suitable groom for his sister. Haala rejects every proposal, and their relationship becomes strained. The family dynamic frames the marriage as a contested event.

Sameer arranges for Ameen, another UAE-based suitor, to marry Haala on very short notice. Ameen travels to the UAE and agrees to the arrangement despite the tight timeline. The wedding plans move forward quickly to meet expectations.

Ameen and Sameer meet in the UAE and decide to push through with the wedding on short notice. They coordinate logistics to make the union possible. The pace accelerates as the ceremony approaches.

Ameen wants to get acquainted with Haala before the wedding, but she appears indifferent. He discovers she hasn't saved his contact information on her phone and discusses the situation with his friend Anwar.

Ameen calls Haala again and is scolded in a loud, speakerphone exchange. Haala's cousin Amina and Bathool get involved, and they debate whether to call off the wedding, with Bathool suggesting they wait to see if he apologizes.

Haala agrees to meet Ameen secretly at her house in the evening. He expresses a willingness to meet despite the short notice, and their plan adds a covert edge to the evolving relationship.

Ameen arrives at Haala's backyard for the secret meeting and they discuss their concerns. Haala says she can't rush into closeness, but she is trying. The conversation grows tense as Ameen pushes for closeness, testing their resolve.

After the heated talk, Ameen decides to call off the wedding, leaving Haala perplexed. He and his friends drive away, but their car becomes stuck in a partially submerged drainage canal. Guests from Haala's house come to help, recognize him, and invite him back inside.

The late-night rescue leads Haala's family to welcome Ameen back into the house. He can't resist the warmth of the family and agrees to stay, reshaping the wedding's mood.

The following day, the Nikkah ceremony is about to begin as the family prepares for the formal union. Tension lingers, but there is a sense of impending ceremony.

During the ceremony, the priest asks Sameer whether Haala has his sister's permission for the wedding. Sameer remains silent, signaling unresolved questions about consent and blessing.

Moved by emotion, Sameer steps toward Haala and hugs her, breaking the ice between them. The gesture helps rebuild family harmony and clears the way for the Nikkah to proceed.
