Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie

Ryu contemplates Gouken's death and the Dark Hadou, the corrupting energy that haunts him. He wrestles with whether power should be used or resisted, fearing what he might become. The city around him swirls with danger as he stands at a personal crossroads.

In the city, Ryu fights Shadaloo agents, using his martial skill to push them back. His actions draw the attention of Interpol agent Chun-Li and aspiring fighter Sakura, who become curious about him. The encounter propels Ryu toward new allies and new threats.

In Japan, Rose questions Ryu about his hold over the Dark Hadou and the reason he fights. She hints at destiny and warns of the danger the power could unleash. Her cryptic guidance foreshadows the challenges to come.

Ryu visits Gouken's grave to seek solace and clarity. There he reunites with Ken Masters, an old friend who offers blunt, practical counsel about Ryu's path. The reunion sets the stage for the next revelations and decisions.

Ken brings Shun, a boy who claims their mother sent him from Brazil to find Ryu. Ryu is skeptical, but he senses Shun's raw potential as a fighter. The idea of a family connection deepens the stakes of his journey.

Ryu puts Shun through tests to gauge his worth and control. Shun displays a dangerous, sadistic streak and nearly harms a thug, forcing Ryu to intervene. The encounter leaves Ryu more wary of Shun's power and the darkness within him.

Ken locates Sakura in a local bar and agrees to take her to Ryu. He is too late to present her before the underground tournament begins. This missed opportunity heightens the tension as Ryu heads toward the coming conflict.

Under the enigmatic supervision of Dr. Sadler, the underground tournament begins. Shun battles Zangief with superior speed but is distracted by the Dark Hadou, giving Zangief the upper hand. Ryu faces Zangief next, but the Dark Hadou resurges and he fires a Dark Hadouken that misses, causing the building to collapse.

Ryu obliterates Rosanov with a Dark Hadouken. In the distraction, Shun is abducted by Shadaloo agents. Ken and Sakura scramble to stay safe as danger intensifies around them.

Rose appears in a vision to remind Ryu of his duty and urges him to rescue Shun. Her guidance rekindles his resolve and shapes his next moves. He prepares to confront Sadler with allies.

Ryu travels to Akuma's remote mountain home, where Akuma attempts to provoke him into embracing the Dark Hadou. Ryu refuses to surrender to the temptation and asks whether Akuma is Shun's father, which Akuma denies. The encounter deepens the conflict and the sense of fate surrounding Shun.

Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and other fighters infiltrate Sadler's secret hideout to rescue Shun. Inside, Rosanov has been upgraded into a fighting android, and Shun is hidden inside him, manipulated by Sadler. Ryu must resist Shun's trap that would empower Sadler by attacking him.

In the lab, Rose intervenes with a warning vision that you haven't drawn the death card yet. Ryu then fires a normal Shinku Hadouken to defeat Sadler, and the android Rosanov is destroyed as Sadler crumbles. The dramatic confrontation marks the turning point in Ryu's fight against the Dark Hadou.

Shun confesses that he lied about being Ryu's brother and had been working with Sadler to help his mother. Ryu accepts him as family in spirit but refuses to abandon his vow never to use the Dark Hadou again. With the danger resolved, the fighters return to their everyday lives.
