Walter Hugo Khouri’s breakout hit follows Marcos, who discovers Julia stranded on a desolate road and brings her to a mansion belonging to his mistress. As he learns she’s fleeing a psychopathic husband, he becomes passionately devoted to her. The caretaker discovers a bounty on Julia, informs the husband, who relentlessly pursues the terrified pair.
