Strange Brew

Bob and Doug McKenzie attempt to pass off their lackluster film production as a legitimate cinematic experience. Audience members, displeased with the screening, begin to turn on them, causing chaos in the theater.

In a desperate attempt to escape the angry audience, Bob and Doug unleash a swarm of moths into the theater. This crafty diversion allows them to evade the wrath of the audience and avoid issuing refunds.

The next day, motivated by the desire for free beer, Bob and Doug devise a plan to extort Elsinore beer from the local brewery. They attempt to place a live mouse in an empty bottle, leading them instead to speak with the brewery's management.

Their persistence pays off when Bob and Doug secure jobs at the brewery, inspecting for unwanted rodents on the bottling line. This unexpected turn opens the door to further adventures at the brewery.

While working at the brewery, Bob and Doug learn about Brewmeister Smith's sinister plan to taint Elsinore beer with a mind-altering substance. They discover that his nefarious brew is designed to make its victims compliant.

As they investigate further, the brothers uncover the mysterious death of John Elsinore, the brewery's former owner. With his daughter Pam now in charge, they realize the implications of this dark incident.

During their exploration of the brewery, Bob and Doug stumble upon an abandoned cafeteria with an old Galactic Border Patrol video game. The game reveals that Brewmeister Smith orchestrated John Elsinore's murder.

In a moment of distraction, Doug picks up a floppy disk containing shocking footage of John Elsinore's murder, mistaking it for a bootleg recording. This innocent error sets off a chain of events leading to their entrapment.

Soon after their accidental discovery, Bob and Doug are tranquilized by Brewmeister Smith's henchmen. They are manipulated into delivering beer kegs containing Pam and her father's friend, leading to a chaotic sequence of events.

Just when it seems all hope is lost, Bob and Doug find themselves careening into Lake Ontario while delivering the kegs. They emerge from the water unscathed, but Pam suffers apparent memory loss from their chaotic adventure.

In a hilariously absurd courtroom scene, Bob and Doug's antics convince the judge that they are 'certifiably insane.' They are subsequently sentenced to the clutches of Brewmeister Smith at a nearby asylum.

Rosie tracks down the brothers in the asylum and orchestrates a daring escape plan. Together, they reunite with Pam and begin to unveil Brewmeister Smith's malevolent plot.

As chaos unfolds, a rebellion among the brainwashed patients is ignited by Rosie. This leads to a split between the brothers for the first time, with Doug joining the asylum inmates to capture Claude.

The spirit of John Elsinore haunts the brewery, enacting a fitting punishment on Brewmeister Smith. In a climactic moment, Smith meets his demise as the ghost electrocutes him when he is forced against a glowing world map.

In a twist of fate, Bob and Doug return home to retrieve their cherished dog Hosehead, who inadvertently saves the day. When mistaken for a skunk, Hosehead causes a mass exodus from an Oktoberfest celebration where tainted beer was to be served.
