Fanul is Ariel's boyfriend and the son of Zircalon's emperor. He dreams of a freer future and leadership, which creates tension with his father and gives Megan and Ariel a path to challenge the status quo.

S'Vad is the tyrannical emperor's son from Zircalon who arrives to reclaim Ariel and Cosmo. He serves as the main antagonist, challenging the protagonists with his rigid view of control.
