Spider Forest

Min wakes up alone in a dark forest, disoriented and uncertain of what happened. In the hazy dawn, he spots a secluded cabin nearby and makes his way toward it, hoping for answers and safety.

Min enters the small cabin and is shocked by a brutal murder scene: a man hacked to death with a sickle, lying in a pool of blood. The shocking violence sets the tone for the mystery he will try to remember.

Min discovers his girlfriend Su-Young inside the cabin, stabbed and near death. She mutters something about spiders as a clue or fragment of the danger they faced.

Before Min can reach Su-Young to help, the killer suddenly appears and dashes out of the cabin. Min seizes the sickle and pursues the shadow through the dark forest.

The chase winds through the shadowy woods of the Spider Forest as Min fights to close the gap with the elusive killer. The pursuit is perilous, pushing him deeper into unfamiliar territory.

A speeding SUV plows into Min as he enters the tunnel, throwing him to the ground with severe injuries. The collision marks a sobering turn as he slips toward unconsciousness again.

Min lies on the pavement, blood streaming from his injuries, as the killer approaches and seems to taunt him with the inability to capture him. He stretches out his hand, but the distance remains, and darkness takes him again.

Min wakes up fourteen days later in a local hospital with a heavily bandaged head. His friend Choi, a police detective, is at his bedside to comfort him and question what happened.

Choi informs Min that he is the prime suspect due to his fingerprints on the sickle and his ties to the victims. Min tries to recall the events and prove his innocence, but memory is unclear.

Between periods of lucidity, Min attempts to reconstruct the bizarre sequence of events leading to the murders. Some details are missing or uncertain, and the truth feels increasingly elusive.

The boundary between dreams and reality grows hazy as Min pieces together what happened. The puzzles of memory threaten to overshadow his quest to clear his name.
