The mood is uneasy, but the group tries to shrug it off as nothing more than a chilling urban legend meant to scare outsiders.

Upon arrival, they set up their tents, share laughs, and try to enjoy their time together, joking about the supposed killer and about proving the legend false. As night settles in, the atmosphere shifts: strange noises drift through the trees, and shadows seem to move just beyond the glow of the campfire. The fear stays just out of sight, until tangible signs disturb their sense of safety—belongings are disturbed, and trees bear strange carvings that look like warnings or messages left by an unseen presence.

The days that follow bring a steady increase in tension. Cindy begins to feel watched, an uneasy sense that they are not alone. Matt makes a more disturbing discovery—a bloodstained object buried near the campsite. Dawn and Duncan explore a nearby abandoned cabin and uncover relics that suggest the legend might hold more truth than they first believed. Meanwhile, Alex and Kirsty clash over whether leaving is the right move; Alex urges them to stay and prove the legend false, while Kirsty presses for an escape.

Paranoia gnaws at the group as old conflicts surface and trust frays at the edges. In a desperate bid to break the cycle, Cindy and Matt uncover the camp’s dark history and Sparrow’s identity, learning that the killer’s actions are tied to a tragic love story and a long-running cycle of vengeance that has haunted the area for decades. Armed with this painful knowledge, they strive to end the terror once and for all, even as the odds grow steeper.
