She befriends Hazuki Katō Ayaka Asai and Sapphire Kawashima Moe Toyota, and the trio visits the band to get a sense of its culture, its struggles, and the personalities within. Kumiko is surprised to see Reina Kōsaka Chika Anzai arriving at the same school and choosing to join the band, signaling a complicated reunion and a test for everyone as they begin to navigate a shared environment.
