Master swordsman Tsukue Ryunosuke returns in the final chapter of the famed jidaigeki series, confronted by the families of his victims. The film asks whether the brutal warrior can be held accountable or must remain a doomed wanderer. It offers a starkly different perspective from the later “Sword of Doom” and “Satan’s Sword” adaptations, highlighting Ryunosuke’s undiminished skill and relentless thirst for combat.
