In a hidden village located atop a majestic Himalayan mountain, the yetis thrive in seclusion, away from the eyes of humans. At the heart of this community lies Migo, a young yeti who respects the ancient traditions of his village.

Migo's father, Dorgle, performs a unique daily ritual where he hits a gong with his head to summon the sun. This moment is integral to their culture, showcasing the yeti's reverence for nature and tradition.

During one of Dorgle's gong rituals, Migo encounters the charming Meechee, the Stonekeeper's daughter. Captivated by her beauty, Migo becomes distracted and inadvertently fails to summon the sun, impacting the village's harmony.

As a consequence of his blunder, Migo is banished from the village for supposedly fabricating a story about seeing a Smallfoot, a legendary creature believed to be human. This pivotal event sets Migo on a path of discovery and adventure.

Banished, Migo stumbles upon a group including Gwangi, Kolka, and Fleem. They introduce him to the Smallfoot Evidentiary Society, led by Meechee, who encourages him to seek out the truth about the Smallfoot.

Despite warnings from the stones, Migo bravely decides to go below the clouds in search of answers. His determination leads him to a dramatic drop where he discovers land for the first time, expanding his understanding of the world.

Meanwhile, in the village of Simikot, Percy Patterson, a struggling filmmaker, devises an outrageous scheme to regain his status in the film industry. His plans take a turn when his assistant Brenda leaves him stranded.

In a local pub, Percy unexpectedly crosses paths with Migo. Initially terrified, he soon becomes involved in Migo’s quest, especially after a bear trap incident compels him to help the yeti.

Migo and Percy journey back to the yeti village together, leading to a mixture of confusion and curiosity among the villagers regarding Percy's presence. Percy shares stories about the human world, bridging connections.
