Several years after her success with Whitestar, Megan now operates her own equestrian center. When a barn fire breaks out, Whitestar’s young son, Silverstar, escapes into the woods and is discovered by 16-year-old Esmee. The pair form a unique connection. Following the fire, horse dealer Carina offers assistance to Megan, but her motives are questionable. As Esmee uncovers unsettling events, her concerns are dismissed. Determined to protect Silverstar, she flees with the horse and must rely on her wits to survive in the wilderness.
