Several years after her success with Whitestar, Megan now operates her own equestrian center. When a barn fire breaks out, Whitestar’s young son, Silverstar, escapes into the woods and is discovered by 16-year-old Esmee. The pair form a unique connection. Following the fire, horse dealer Carina offers assistance to Megan, but her motives are questionable. As Esmee uncovers unsettling events, her concerns are dismissed.
