Shailaja Reddy Alludu

Chaitanya “Chaitu” is the son of an egotistical businessman, a man whose pride rattles the family and upsets his sister Shanti’s wedding plans. He falls for artist Anu Reddy and dives into a romance that worries everyone who expects his father to disapprove. Yet Anu’s spirited, headstrong nature wins him over, and the pair press on hopeful for acceptance.

At a pivotal function, Chaitu takes a bold risk, announcing that he and Anu will marry, catching many by surprise. In the chaos that follows, Anu’s uncle arrives and shocks the room by taking Shanti away. The revelation that Anu’s mother, Shailaja Reddy, is a formidable village leader—one who uses vigilante justice and her influence to punish abusers and uplift the community—adds a new layer of tension to the tale.

Five years earlier, Shailaja had a different plan for Anu: to become a doctor so she could provide free medical care to the village’s women. Anu longed to study art instead, and the two have not spoken directly since. Chaitu is given the task of bringing Shanti back and marrying her on the very day his father swears to protect his own pride.

As the story unfolds, Anu persuades her uncle not to reveal their romance to Shailaja. Chaitu and his devoted assistant, Chari, secretly pose as kind-hearted volunteers and doctors who want to set up a hospital in the village. Through a series of schemes and careful maneuvering, they begin to ease the rift between mother and daughter, even as they juggle his father’s ticking deadline and Shailaja’s plan to wed Anu to a doctor on the same day.

When Shailaja appears ready to welcome Anu, rival interests surface and threaten to derail everything by exposing hidden feelings and complicating the father’s promise. A moment of anger leads Shailaja to throw Chaitu out of the village, but fate intervenes when she is attacked by abusers seeking revenge—Chaitu returns to protect them all. In the heat of the moment, Anu uses her dupatta to bind a wound, leaving Shailaja stunned by her daughter’s courage and care.

Back home, Chaitu confronts the hubris surrounding the family’s plans, urging Shailaja to respect her daughter’s career choices. The next day brings another crisis: a call confirms that Shanti has been taken, and the wedding plans must proceed. Enraged, Chaitu’s father heads to stop the ceremony, only to be met by Shailaja, who reveals that she has embraced Chaitu as her future son-in-law and has learned from her earlier folly. Chaitu steps forward, admitting that he persuaded her to delay until he could secure his father’s blessing. United at last, the family joins the celebrations—and both marriages are set to go ahead.
