Screwed

Willard is an overworked and underpaid chauffeur for Mrs. Crock. He longs for a new uniform, explaining that the one he wears is the one his father was buried in.

Crock lavishes expensive gifts on her partner Chip and her dog Muffin, while Willard continues to be treated as an afterthought. He receives only a cheap cuff link and a pie, underscoring the gulf between Crocks generosity and his own neglect.

Fed up with the mistreatment, Willard and his friend Rusty hatch a plan to kidnap Muffin the dog for a 1,000,000 ransom. They believe the scheme could turn the tables on Crock and improve their lives.

Muffin attacks Willard, causing destruction and leaving Willard blood at the scene. The kidnapping plan quickly collapses as Muffin later escapes.

Crock and the Pittsburgh police misinterpret the hastily scrawled ransom note as Willard being the kidnapper. Crock initially refuses to pay, but public protests led by Hillary push for action.

Willard and Rusty film a fake ransom video and feed it to the media to pressure Crock. They plan a late night park meeting with a decoy corpse and hire Grover Cleaver to obtain it.

The plan goes wrong when Willard pockets the money but is attacked by two children who steal the suitcase. Willard is hospitalized, and the decoy corpse is discovered by the police.

Police find the decoy corpse and grow suspicious about Grover's involvement. Willard insists the captor was responsible, but authorities remain wary of Grover's actions.

The mother of one of Willard's attackers returns the briefcase. He is relieved, but discovers the briefcase is filled with newspaper and cabbage instead of money.

Police interrogate Willard and Rusty, and Rusty reveals his nervous habit of striking people with desk lamps. The truth adds to the growing tension around the case.

Grover goes on a rampage and kidnaps Mrs. Crock while waiting for his share of money. Willard and his allies become targets in the escalating confrontation.

Willard confronts Grover and learns that the money is in the briefcase but was stolen by Chip Oswald. He also discovers that his father was Crock's lover and manservant, revealing tangled family ties.

As the police close in on Grover, Crock convinces them that Willard, Rusty, and Grover are actually her rescuers rather than captors. The line between saviors and suspects blurs.

Willard leads the police to Chip's house and the ransom money is found. Chip pulls a gun, but Rusty knocks him unconscious with a lava lamp. Crock rewards Willard with money for college at USC and a new Armani suit, and with Rusty opening a Chicken Hole on the beach; Willard reconciles with Hillary, and Crock ends up in a romance with Grover.
