Griffin receives an alarming anonymous video showing a blonde woman in white in a cemetery. As viewers initially think the video is harmless, it ends with a startling jump scare when a masked figure suddenly appears, raising everyone's tensions and interest.

Tom, Chris, and the team decide to showcase the creepy video on their platform. The decision pays off as the video goes viral, significantly boosting Gigaler's recognition and drawing in a larger audience eager for the thrilling content.

Griffin receives another unsettling video where the same blonde woman is shown in a bedroom, just before the masked figure strikes again. Eager to uncover the source of this content, Tom assigns Abbi Snee to investigate the video's origin.

Abbi locates the uploader's information, connecting it to an address and phone number near Rochester, New York. This discovery heightens the suspense as the team prepares to dig deeper into the mystery behind these haunting videos.

Tom reaches out to the uploader, a nervous woman named Tara, who provides cryptic details about a man named Francis connected to the video's creation. Tara warns Tom about the complexity of her relationship with Francis and insists he must not disclose their conversation.

As the investigation deepens, the resemblance between the woman in the video and a long-missing Tara Rogers becomes clear. Tom contacts Tara for clarification, but she reacts strongly, rejecting him and demanding he never reaches out again, leaving the team in confusion.

The team uncovers a tombstone related to Francis Tumuelty, a man once accused of being Jack the Ripper. This alarming find leads them to speculate that they may be victims of an elaborate prank aiming to exploit their fears for content.

Determined to confront Tara and unravel the mystery, Tom convinces Griffin and Abbi to accompany him to Rochester. Their trip includes a visit to the tombstone of Francis Tumblety before attempting to reach Tara's house for answers.

The group unsuccessfully attempts to engage Tara at her residence. They spend the night at Abbi's friend Emma's house reflecting on the eerie circumstances surrounding Tara Rogers and their inexplicable connection.

The next day, Tom and Griffin make another attempt to visit Tara. They find the side door to her house ajar and venture inside, discovering unsettling items that suggest something sinister occurred, including melted candles and jars of blood.

As Tom steps outside to investigate an unexpected noise from his vehicle, Griffin is suddenly attacked by Francis. The situation quickly escalates as Tom runs back to find himself in a dire confrontation with Francis.

At Emma's place, Abbi shares video footage that shows a lurking figure outside Tara's residence from the previous night. Just then, Tom sends a panicked text to Chris and Abbi, urging them to return to Tara's house.

Upon arriving, Chris and Abbi discover Tara curled up in an upstairs bedroom, visibly distressed. In a terrifying twist, Francis ambushes Chris, leading Abbi and Emma to flee as they realize their lives are in grave danger.
