Scream

Sam, having killed Richie, acknowledges her connection to Billy Loomis and the dangerous allure of violence, hinting at her ongoing internal struggle. The film closes with a sense of relief but also a reminder that the cycle of violence and obsession in Woodsboro is far from over, hinting that in this universe, as in many horror stories, the ghosts of the past can never truly be laid to rest.
