Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town

Meisterburger trips over a toy duck and responds by banning all toys in Sombertown. The decree pits Kris's gift-giving against the town's new law. Kris's path to delivering joy becomes risky and daring.

Kris arrives in Sombertown and begins leaving toys for the children, including a gift for Miss Jessica, the schoolteacher. His acts of generosity spread hope throughout the town. Meisterburger orders Kris's arrest, forcing him to flee.

S.D. Kluger finishes recounting the story and suddenly recalls that he must deliver the letters to Santa. He repairs his truck and departs with Topper, Winter, and a parade of children singing 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.' The tale circles back to its original messenger and a communal celebration.
