Fresh out of college, Bram lands his ideal job at a local newspaper, dreaming of becoming a groundbreaking journalist. However, he soon discovers the reality of the industry is far different from his aspirations. Assigned to write fluff pieces like "Best Hot Dogs in the City," Bram's journalistic ambitions are sidelined. When the paper faces layoffs and he uncovers a potentially explosive story about the controversial mayor, he must race against the mayor's persuasive aide to break the news and prove himself as a real journalist.
