Rana Prathap Jayadev, a wealthy man whose ego fuels his actions, is unsettled when MP Suragana Durga Prasad's henchmen stage a political rally near him. The disruption leads to a tense confrontation at the police station, where the SP demands that Rana apologize. After a standoff, Rana relents, apologizing to the henchmen but warns that the SP will hear from him soon.

The incident becomes the catalyst for Rana to enter the police service to take revenge on the SP. He leverages his wealth to bribe a minister into appointing him as a Sub-Inspector in a rural area.

In uniform, he pursues the law in his blunt, unconventional way, creating headaches for the SP who suspects him. Along the way, he befriends Constable Reddy, who becomes a loyal ally in his fight against corruption.

Rana meets Megha, the SP’s daughter, and their connection grows through a series of comic encounters. Megha gradually cares for him as they fall in love, despite the risky sides of their circumstances.

Rana takes on the missing-person case involving the head constable who vanished since his joining date. The investigation points to a broader pattern of 'lockup deaths' linked to Prasad's network.

A lone witness, the constable’s colleague, reveals that the CI killed someone inside the police station and bribery was used to shield the crime. The colleague flees, while the constable, unable to uphold ethics, commits suicide.

Rana tracks down the CI who tries to cover up the crime, leading to a pursuit that ends with the CI dying in an ambulance accident.

From that moment, Rana becomes deeply involved in exposing Prasad's corruption within the police system. He aligns with his father to push for better pay for lower-ranking officers and insists on honest work, challenging the status quo.

Rana forges an uneasy alliance with the SP and, with Megha’s blessing, marries her. The union strengthens his personal resolve to fight corruption from within.

Rana continues pressuring Prasad and in a violent clash, kills Prasad's brother. Prasad strikes back, but is injured by a backstab from Reddy. Rana is saved by his father’s private security team led by James.

Prasad discovers Rana is alive and arranges a meeting through Reddy to broker a truce. The two sides test each other, weighing loyalty, revenge, and the price of justice.

The confrontation ends with Rana shooting Prasad to death, eliminating the threat once and for all. He forgives Reddy and solidifies their partnership as he vows to continue clean policing with Megha by his side.
