Raghava lives in Lucknow with his son Arjun and works as the head cook for a Brahmin caterer, quietly lending a hand to Amrutha, the caterer’s daughter who soon grows fond of him because of his unwavering honesty. The routine of their lives is upended when Balaram Tripathi, a former minister, swears vengeance after a race-night humiliation almost costs him everything. Tripathi had already schemed to marry his son Kishan to the daughter of a Central minister for political gain, only to be thwarted by Raghava and Arjun, and this turn of events tugs Raghava and Amrutha deeper into a dangerous political web.

Tripathi kidnaps Raghava and orders his henchmen to finish him off, while Arjun, asleep at home, is held at gunpoint. In a brutal confrontation, Raghava fights back with lethal efficiency, eliminating the attackers and leaving Tripathi vulnerable to the consequences of his own schemes. Kishan then seeks the help of a crime boss named Sarkar to eliminate Raghava, dispatching men to do the dirty work. Yet Raghava carries out a string of covert eliminations without attracting attention, and when [Sarkar] confronts him, he is shocked to discover that Raghava is more than a mere cook—Raghava is [Roberrt], and Arjun is not his biological son. The revelation shifts the emphasis from vengeance to a longer arc, and when Amrutha presses for answers, Raghava/Roberrt begins to tell his story.

Past: [Roberrt] and Raghava are shown as close allies—almost brothers—working for Nanabhai’s elder faction in Mangalore. The two form a bond that helps Thanu and Raghava navigate parental disapproval of their relationship. They marry, start a family, and have Arjun, a boy who becomes central to their future. But a dark thread runs through their world: they uncover Nana’s son Cherry involved in human trafficking, and they take action to stop him, despite Nana’s pleas. A tragedy follows when Thanu is killed in a crossfire during a brutal attack on Nana’s gang, which leaves Raghava deeply unsettled and marks a turning point. Seeking justice, Raghava becomes an approver to the police, sharing Nana’s crimes with the city’s police commissioner Sathyadev and setting a dangerous plan in motion.

The past also reveals a tense rift between Nana and Sarkar, a rift that had once driven a wedge through their shared empire. A sense of foreboding hangs over the duo’s world as they manipulate events to their advantage, but hope remains in the form of Roberrt’s vow to protect Arjun’s future—even if it means sacrificing his own peaceful path.

Present: Roberrt/Raghava asks Amrutha to guard his past from Arjun, hoping to shield the boy from the grim history that could shape his life. Nana catches wind of Roberrt/Raghava’s existence through Sarkar and descends on Lucknow, using a food-poisoning trap on Amrutha’s father Vishwanath Bhat to tighten his grip. He also schemes to frame Roberrt/Raghava in Tripathi’s death, taunting him with the desperate demand to settle the score once and for all. The confrontation comes to a head during Rama Navami, when Roberrt moves decisively, ending Nana, Kishan, and Sarkar’s threat in a no-nonsense execution scene that closes a brutal chapter and reasserts a fragile, hard-won balance between violence and protection.

The film blends high-stakes action with a tight-knit emotional core, tracking a man’s struggle to protect his family while wrestling with a past that cannot easily be outrun. It explores loyalty, the cost of truth, and the lengths a father will go to keep his son safe, culminating in a climactic resolution that ties together past betrayals and present justice.
