Marcus, Craig, Liz, and Nina are cruising through the harsh Australian outback when a looming road train looms behind their SUV and hammers them off the road, leaving Craig with a broken arm. Her focus returns to the road, but the front trailer’s contents—the abattoir—haunt her as she fights to keep moving. Eventually, she stops to survey the wreckage she has left behind, the two survivors from the earlier crash now peering at the truck with a mix of fear and awe. Nina calls out in warning, but the distant gunshots and the sight of a screaming figure racing toward them compel the couple to seize the moment: they hijack the truck and speed away, leaving Nina to confront the haunting repeat of the terrible cycle she has just witnessed.

In the end, the road through the outback keeps returning to the same cruel loop: a lone vehicle, a truck fueled by a red fluid, and a trail of bodies and fear.
