Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise

The Lambda Lambda Lambdas prepare for their long-awaited journey to the national fraternity convention. Unfortunately, loyal member Gilbert is unable to join them due to a leg injury he sustained during a chess game.

Upon arriving at the Royal Flamingo Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, the Lambda's excitement quickly turns to dismay. Their reservation mysteriously canceled, they learn that the Alpha Betas have taken their place, much to the hotel's manager Buzz's disdain for their fraternity.

Determined to find a place to stay, Poindexter discovers the Hotel Coral Essex, albeit in a less-than-desirable neighborhood. The group checks in, and soon encounters Stewart, a tech-savvy bellhop eager to help.

Roger Latimer, president of the Alpha Beta chapter, devises a plot to embarrass the Tri-Lambs. Collaborating with Ogre and his fellow Alphas, they aim to drive the Lambda presence out of the convention.

As the Lambdas head to the pre-conference barbecue, they fall victim to Roger's misleading directions. Their journey takes a chaotic turn when they enter the Florida swamps, leading them into an unexpected encounter.

Trapped by a group of Seminole Indians inside an ancient Mayan temple, the members of Lambda Lambda Lambda find themselves in a dire situation. They evade capture by fleeing from aggressive alligators and Ogre's relentless pursuit.

The following day brings chaos as Roger presents Proposition 15, a controversial rule expected to reinforce fraternity standards. Despite Lewis's objections, the proposal gains traction, overshadowed by a chaotic wet-nightie contest.

In an attempt to rally their spirits, the Tri-Lambdas host an extravagant party at the Hotel Coral Essex. They comically change their neon sign to read 'Hot oral sex,' which captures the attention of a curious crowd.

In a surprising turn, Roger proposes a bylaw to expel any fraternity guilty of criminal activities. The Lambdas, relieved by this unanticipated gesture, accept his friendship and reclaim their luxurious suite at the Royal Flamingo.

Roger tasks Sunny with gathering girls for a beach trip, but their fun is short-lived when Roger reports the theft of his car. Chaos ensues, culminating in the Tri-Lambdas' arrest as tensions peak.

After being bailed out by Stewart and Sunny, the Tri-Lambdas face betrayal as the Alpha Betas kidnap them and abandon them on a deserted island. Sunny, disillusioned by Roger's betrayal, jumps into the ocean in despair.

On the island, Wormser heroically saves Ogre from drowning, leading to an unexpected bonding moment for the group. They find common ground as they share experiences fueled by Booger's stash.

That night, Lewis has a poignant dream of Gilbert, who urges him not to give up. Inspired, Lewis realizes the importance of his actions towards Sunny and vows to team up with her to devise an escape plan.

At dawn, the Tri-Lambs discover a hidden stash belonging to a Cuban military officer, including a remarkable amphibious vehicle that could aid their escape. Meanwhile, Roger unwittingly prepares the conference with malicious intent.

Clad in military gear, the Tri-Lambs storm the fraternity conference, causing chaos and excitement as they confront Roger. In a climactic reveal, Sunny exposes Roger's betrayal, leading to Lewis delivering a punch that sends Roger into the pool.

An emergency fraternity council meeting results in Roger and his cohorts losing their authority, while the Tri-Lambdas step up into leadership roles. They celebrate this new beginning by inducting Ogre in a heartfelt ceremony.
