In 2043, patent clerks Frank and Xaver are tormented by their boss, Dr. Kneitz. When an inventor arrives to patent a time‑machine, they plan to travel back and stop Kneitz’s conception. Night‑watchman Ronny is inadvertently caught in the experiment, sending the trio to 1988 Gran Canaria, where they have only a few days to prevent every possible encounter that could lead to the future mother’s pregnancy.
