Revenge of the Mysterons from Mars

The story unfolds across multiple locations in our solar system. The Lunar Controller, Frazer, leads the outpost and declares its neutral status in the conflict.

The Mysterons are a hostile alien civilization from Mars attempting to establish a secret base on the Moon. They possess a reconstructive ability powered by a pulsating crystal, allowing them to rebuild themselves and create doppelgangers of humans they have destroyed. Their aggressive expansion threatens Earth and forms the central antagonistic force in the story.

Spectrum is Earth's elite space defense organization tasked with confronting Mysteron threats. Led by Commander-in-chief Captain White (who is later revealed to be a Mysteron doppelganger), the team includes Captain Scarlet, Captain Blue, Lieutenant Green, and other captains who operate from Earth and the lunar outpost.
