In the 1960s, Sandhya of Thoothukudi adopts an infant with a spear-shaped scar, naming him Paarivel 'Paari' Kannan. Her husband Thilagan refuses to acknowledge the boy. Sandhya dies, leaving Paari to grow up under his family's shadow.

As a teenager, Paari meets Rukmini during their mothers' funeral rites in Varanasi. On the train back to Thoothukudi, Thilagan is ambushed, and Paari saves him, earning his reluctant respect.

By 1989, Thilagan remarries and has a biological son, while Paari remains loyal to the family and its empire. His new wife sees him only as a henchman.

Paari reunites with Rukmini, now a veterinarian, and falls deeply in love. The couple's romance begins to challenge his loyalty to the criminal world.

In 1993, the couple plans to marry. Paari announces he intends to leave crime, but Thilagan accuses him of sabotaging a high-stakes arms deal codenamed 'Gold Fish' and demands the cache location.

At the wedding, Thilagan tries to kill Rukmini; Paari retaliates by severing his hand. Paari is arrested and imprisoned after the confrontation.

Heartbroken, Rukmini leaves Paari and relocates to an undisclosed location. The breakup ends their immediate romance.

Five years later, Paari is promised early release if he fights for a secretive cult; he escapes custody and travels to the Andaman Islands to find Rukmini. He infiltrates the island to win her back.

On the island, Paari disguises himself as Chaplin Laali to reconnect with Rukmini, while Lord Milton and his son Freddie oppress the locals. The ruse allows Paari to operate undercover and keep his relationship with Rukmini intact.

Freddie brutalizes islanders and hires a cult leader to capture Paari. The cult leader raises the alarm to Michael, who runs the Rubber Cult, escalating the danger.

Michael exposes Paari's true identity during a comedy show, shocking Rukmini. Paari reluctantly joins the Rubber Cult to survive and win back his life.

Paari learns his true lineage and meets Pasupathy, his biological father, uncovering the legend of Jada Muni. He defeats Michael and Rajavel, reclaiming the sacred spear and returning it to the temple astrologer. Thilagan, Michael, and Freddie arrive with the Gold Fish weapons, but Lakshmi fires a warning shot and they surrender. The islanders celebrate Paari and Rukmini's marriage, fulfilling prophecy and love.
