Kannan, who has been quietly following the investigation, realizes an innocent man has been captured. He links with Kirikalan and Velli to orchestrate a daring escape and continues to hunt for the truth behind the murders.

Kannan unfolds his painful past: his elder brother Ganesh and their father were caterers at a wedding in Kumbakonam. He falls in love with Jothy, fears she might be the bride, and later learns she is not, yet the bond deepens. When villains buy land and strike, a catastrophic fire kills many, and Kannan and Ganesh escape with Kannan forever marked by the flames.

From the ashes, Kannan vows revenge and Shakti joins him to seek justice rather than revenge alone. Together with Velli and Kirikalan, they piece together motives and lies spanning the exhibition grounds and the criminal underworld.

In a final confrontation, Kannan faces the villains with Shakti, Velli, and Kirikalan. To stop the chief antagonist Rakesh, Kannan makes the ultimate sacrifice by leaping into lava, ensuring the villains cannot escape accountability.

The sacrifice frees Kannan from his past, and he is reunited with his family and Jothy in heaven. The living are left to carry forward his memory and the power of forgiveness.

The film closes on a note of forgiveness, resilience, and communal memory. Shakti, Velli, and Kirikalan reflect on how courage and love can transform a community.
