Red Rock West

Michael Williams, recently discharged from the Marine Corps, arrives in the small town of Red Rock, Wyoming. Seeking employment after a failed job opportunity, he finds himself living out of his car as he attempts to rebuild his life.

Michael is mistakenly identified by Wayne, the local bar owner, as a hitman known as 'Lyle from Dallas.' This misunderstanding sets off a chain of events that will change Michael's life forever.

Believing he has struck gold, Wayne offers Michael a tempting deal of half the payment upfront for a 'hit' on his wife, Suzanne. In a moment of desperation and financial need, Michael reluctantly decides to go along with Wayne's scheme.

Instead of harming Suzanne, Michael chooses to visit her and inform her about the danger she is in. This decision is fueled by his empathy and leads to an unexpected twist as she offers him even more money to get rid of Wayne.

While planning to flee with the stolen cash, Michael encounters an injured man on the roadside. His compassionate choice to divert to the hospital leads him into a perilous situation as he unintentionally crosses paths with the local sheriff, who is Wayne.

Chaos erupts the following morning when the real hitman, Lyle, arrives at Wayne's bar looking for money. He kidnaps both Suzanne and Michael in a desperate effort to access a safe in Wayne’s office.

As tensions rise, a deeper conspiracy between Wayne and Suzanne is unveiled, indicating their involvement in embezzlement. The situation escalates when Wayne is captured by his own deputies in a shocking turn of events.

Lyle takes the kidnapped Suzanne and Michael to a graveyard to force Wayne into revealing the location of some buried cash. This intense standoff leads to a violent conflict that results in Lyle's death and grave injuries to Wayne.

In a frantic attempt to escape the chaos, Michael and Suzanne manage to hop onto a train, thinking they have found freedom. However, the situation is far from over as Suzanne's true allegiance is about to be revealed.

As they ride the train away from Red Rock, Suzanne betrays Michael, revealing her true intentions. In a moment of self-preservation, Michael makes a drastic choice to throw the cash out of the moving train and pushes her off, ensuring she is apprehended.

With Suzanne captured by the police, Michael gives her a chilling farewell, stating, 'Adios, Red Rock.' His eyes reflect a mixture of relief and uncertainty as he watches the chaos unfold behind him.

As the train speeds away, Michael clutches a small packet of bills that miraculously remains intact. This final twist leaves him contemplating his uncertain future, feeling both victorious and burdened by his choices.
