Red One

The film opens 30 years earlier, where a young Jack O’Malley attends a family Christmas party. He mischievously reveals to his cousins that their parents, not Santa Claus, are the ones behind their gifts, leading to a scolding from Uncle Rick.

In present-day, Jack O'Malley, now an expert tracker, creates a distraction by setting a Christmas tree on fire at a mall. He successfully sneaks in to plant a device while showcasing his reckless behavior by stealing candy from a baby.

Santa, known as 'Red One,' is at the mall with his bodyguard Callum Drift, observing the greedy shoppers. Callum demonstrates his protective nature by intimidating an obnoxious influencer who interrupts a family's meeting with Santa.

After Santa and Callum return to the North Pole, they are ambushed by mercenaries who kidnap Santa. Zoe Harlow from the Mythological Oversight and Restoration Authority contacts Callum, emphasizing the urgency to find Jack, 'The Wolf,' as they have only 24 hours until Christmas Eve.

Jack receives a call from his ex, Olivia, regarding their son Dylan, who got in trouble for trying to hack into the school PA system. Jack reprimands Dylan not for the crime itself but for his poor execution, revealing his regrets about being an absentee father.

Jack is confronted by mercenaries in his apartment. After a fight, he is subdued and taken to the North Pole, where he learns Santa has been kidnapped and that mythological creatures are real.

Inside his cell, Santa meets a young woman who siphons his energy using a magic snow globe. She reveals her weapon, a glaskafig, designed to imprison him.

Jack and Callum reluctantly team up to rescue Santa. They begin their journey through a toy store portal, transforming a toy car into a vehicle for their adventure.

The duo arrives in Aruba to confront Ted, who brokered the kidnapping deal. They learn that the villain behind the plot is Gryla, the Christmas Witch, causing further complications in their mission.

Jack and Callum face off against monstrous snowmen that reassemble after being destroyed. The pair uses their resourcefulness to defeat them and continue their quest.

The duo arrives at Krampus's lair after being captured. Despite their predicament, Jack challenges Krampus to a duel, leading to a series of slapstick actions that eventually allow them to escape.

Jack and Dylan find themselves in Gryla's lair after Jack uses a glaskafig to teleport. They manage to escape by realizing their bond and overcoming their limitations as a team.

The heroes discover that Gryla's shapeshifting goons have taken over the North Pole. They must figure out a way to expose the impostors and save Santa from Gryla's plans.

In an epic battle, Jack and Callum face off against Gryla as she attempts to flee with Santa. With the help of Krampus and the reindeer, they manage to trap Gryla in her own weapon, the glaskafig.

With Santa ready for his Christmas Eve deliveries, Jack and Dylan assist in spreading joy worldwide. Callum observes the strengthening bond between Jack and his son, culminating in a moment where Santa acknowledges Callum’s change of heart about retiring.
