Howard Langston is a hardworking mattress salesman in Minneapolis who loves his wife, Liz, and their nine-year-old son, Jamie, but his demanding schedule often pulls him away from the people who matter most. The escalating competition leads Howard down a perilous path: he becomes entangled with a counterfeit ring run by Santa-suited con artists, a scheme that erupts into a chaotic warehouse brawl. In a desperate bid to avoid arrest, Howard even pretends to be an undercover officer, only to emerge battered and exhausted.

The family’s Christmas parade looms on the horizon, and Howard resolves to attend as promised, even as his search for the figure continues to complicate his life. A tense chase ensues when he encounters Officer Hummel again, forcing Howard into hiding in a storage room. The confrontation escalates when Myron, now dressed as Turbo Man’s foe Dementor, confronts them.
